12 Top GDPR Tools – it’s not too late!!

GDPR? May 25th? Did I miss something? Is my door about to get knocked down as the GDPR police shut down our business?

Ok, that’s extreme. And of course, I’m aware of the new General Data Protection Regulations, give due credit AND actually believe while it has caused some short-term pain to organisations implementing the required changes it will actually improve things, massively.

Not just for those that deserve to have complete control over their own confidential and even not-so-confidential information (everyone) but also businesses. Your message will have far less noise to cut through (my inbox, is eerily empty nowadays, thankfully!) but your message will also be going to those that actually want to hear from you. Focusing on better quality customers will improve your bottom line.

I just can’t see the negative in that. For everyone.

I have noticed, with May 25th having passed, there seems to be no support for businesses to retrospectively implement the required changes to become GDPR compliant, the marketing, warnings and so on are slowly disappearing.

I’m expecting there will likely be a grace period rather than strict enforcement from May 25th as long as you can clearly show, the actions you have taken prior to May 25th and thereafter to become complaint.

Don’t get me wrong, the new regulations are now in force, and you should already be compliant, I’m just suggesting – you may not have had your business closed on May 26th for not being 100% perfect that will change at some point obviously – just respect those you interact with and treat their information like you would expect yours to be treated and make sure you give people the opportunity to opt-out and opt-in.

So, what about the businesses that have just woken from hibernation and missed the memo?

Well, I’ve accumulated a list of 12 top GDPR tools you can use if you are not yet compliant, or you are not sure if you are to get your business GDPR compliant and a small review below each one! I truly hope this is helpful for both your business but also your customers.
