12 Months of Gratitude

As the year comes to an end, one of the most important things you can do is to start recognizing the things you are grateful for and the things you’ve accomplished. Take a look at each month and try to figure out, “What have I done?”
In January, I look back and I am really proud of what I have accomplished in that month. I did an amazing training in Atlanta. I am also very grateful for the people that met Baby Bathwater and for everyone that I have met there. I’m grateful for the experience in Mexico, and for the lifelong friendships that I’ve made from that Entrepreneurial Conference.
I look back at February, and I think to myself - wow. I redid the Evyrgreen Networking course and relaunched it in February. It was one year since we started it, and now we relaunched it. I’m so proud of that.
In March, I talked at a Vistage event. I’m so thankful for all the Vistage chairs that helped me talk to Vistage. It was a wonderful experience, and I enjoy connecting and meeting with people from Vistage.
I spoke about how to leverage at LinkedIn. That was the last event I spoke at live before COVID hit and all my events were cancelled, so I’m grateful that I transitioned to virtual.
In April, I had Passover at the house. I’m grateful I got to spend time with the kids. We’ve never done Passover at home. The year before, we went to China. We’ve always travelled for Passover, but for the first time, we did Passover at the house, and it was really, really meaningful. I look forward to doing that again privately. We went from Bondage to Bonding.
May is when we really started to dedicate ourselves to focus on virtual networking. Typically, May is a great time to network. Spring is full on. Summer is starting soon and it’s a great time to network, but unfortunately, nobody was able to network in person. Because of this, we started networking online, and it really started taking off. I’m grateful for the community of networkers that have been networking with me online, a few times a month, every month. We’ve had so many sessions and I’m so grateful for that.
June was a great month. I went upstate with my kids. We have a home upstate, and I’m so grateful that I have that home upstate. It’s a nice place that we’re able to go to that has a swimming pool and all the other wonderful stuff that we have up there. It was really nice to have a change of scenery. I’m grateful we can go on a little get away, slow down a bit, and spend quality time together.
In July, I had a really nice virtual EO meeting, and we started to do virtual training sessions for EO groups. That was the first time I’ve ever done a virtual session for EO, and it went really well, so I started doing it more for other chapters.
In August, we made a few new hires, which I’m so grateful for, because although we lost 75% of our revenue due to the pandemic, by the time August came around, we signed on a few really big projects. This led us to hiring more team members. These new projects and new hires really helped us get through the rest of the year. We started to see momentum for continued growth. I also launched a funnel webinar that I worked so hard on. I’m really proud of it, and it has already helped many businesses understand what a marketing funnel is.
In September, we started Evyrgreen Corporate training. I’m grateful for this because now, I can impact people on a larger scale at companies, and everyone loves it. The attendees from our first group were so happy, and they found the training very valuable. I’m making such a good impact, and we’re testing out this workshop offering for companies, and it’s working out really well. I look forward to doing this with many, many, more companies in the coming year.
In October, I finished writing my book called "High Energy Purpose." I’ve been wanting to write this book, and I had it in me for a really long time. I’ve been wanting to get it out there, but I wasn’t sure. Then, eventually, it just happened. I was in the momentum of writing it, and BOOM. It was like I gave birth to it. It’s such a great reminder, because anytime I need inspiration, I open it up and randomly read a chapter. It really helps me get centered. Even if I only wrote the book for myself, it’s enough.
November. Turning 41 in one of the most difficult years that humanity has ever faced with this pandemic made me realize so many things. I wanted to really reconnect with my parents. My father was sick, and there were so many things going on in their life. It was difficult that I couldn’t visit them. In November, COVID restrictions were lowered, and I was able to spend a weekend with them, and it was not just any weekend. I spent my 41st birthday weekend with them, which was really special. It was really nurturing and wonderful. I’m grateful that I got to spend time with my kids on my birthday, and then I flew to Florida to see my parents.
December. I’m thankful for our Goal Setting Masterclass and the impact that so many people signed up for the masterclass. I’m just so thankful that, for the next six weeks, I’m going to be coaching people and helping them with setting their goals for 2021.
