12 General Counsel Sustainability Forum members speaking
At this year's Economist GC Summit in London on 5th Nov, ?????????????????? ????????????????* of General Counsel Sustainability Forum's members are speaking.
This is especially apt as this years theme is “Leading a new era of responsible business”.
These members (listed below) are global General Counsel or Chief Legal Officers of their organisations, all of which are either major corporations or significant public bodies.
Virtually all the interaction we have with our Forum members is online, so it's going to be wonderful to be in the same room as them and hear their insights on many different topics.
I'm also looking forward to chairing a panel at what promises to be a fantastic event.
Top of the agenda topics
I'm delighted there are three panels directly related to the Forum’s work:
??ESG and responsible leadership
??Implementing sustainability: the GC perspective
??The GC and the CSO
The packed Summit schedule also covers a broad range of top of the agenda topics.
These range from “The GC's role in value creation” to “Breaking down silos” and from “Leading through turmoil” to “Making mental well-being a priority”… and of course a number focusing on AI.
In addition to the Forum members who are speaking there’ll be a good few other members attending, so I’m hoping to get a group selfie (think Oscars circa 2014!).
I'm also looking forward to hearing from the many other top tier GCs and CLOs who are speaking, along with experts from Economist Impact and Economist Intelligence: EIU .

Connections to sustainability
In anticipation of the Summit, I’ll be sharing a series of posts about the connections to sustainability which weave through some of the Summit panel topics – some obviously so, some less so.
So keep a look out for that series of posts.
Find out more about the GC Summit here.
Hope to see you on 5th November in London!
Global GCs and CLOs who are Forum members and Summit speakers:
* Thirteen members: after publishing this article, another of our members was asked to join a panel, meaning we now have a bakers dozen of GCs speaking!
Posts: below are also links to the LinkedIn posts I've written about the connections between that GCs panel and the work of General Counsel Sustainability Forum.
Collaboration and Thanks
I've been delighted to collaborate with the team at Economist Impact events on the Summit, and a particular thanks goes to Arundhati Dube - who it's been great to work with again!
