[12-Days of Manifesting Big Dreams] Dream Bigger!

Bigger dreams lead to bigger results!

To be perfectly honest with you. I am not really doing this series for you, it's for me. While I was in seminary, I learned that the best messages are those you preach to yourself.?

Back in October and November, I attended a class led by a mentor of mine.?He asked this simple question: If you called me in 3 years and told me that you've had the best 3 years of your life – professionally and personally – what would you tell me?

My biggest fear about this question is that my answer won’t be big enough. Not big enough for the world to say I did something amazing or awesome or changed a lot. But, not big enough for God to say, well done.

The words, “Well Done”?hold so much meaning for me. The parable I am speaking of is found in Matthew 25:14-30. The Parable of the Bags of Gold. A parable is a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson, as told by Jesus in the Gospels. For me, well done is the ultimate response to my gifts to the world, and my service. I do this work, and live this life for something bigger, no really much bigger than me. My greatest fear is that I would have lived too small and played safe far too many times.?Ready to dream bigger ... Let's go.?

How do you know your dreams are not big enough?

1. Not big enough to scare us
2. Something we can accomplish on our own
3. The size of your dream does not exceed your current capacity

So then, how do we dream bigger? Here are a few thoughts...

• Overcome your fear of failure and success
• Use your imagination
• Find meaning in your life
• Focus?

Now answer a few questions…

1. Will your dream impact relations, environment, growth or purpose?
2. Does this dream feel good?
3. Does this dream feel authentic?
4. Does living this feel like a big dream?
5. Is it the answer to well done??

In the parable of the bags of gold, the rich master gives each servant a gift. Today you have been given a gift. How will you use it? Will you invest it and grow it or will you bury it and have it taken away? It’s your choice.?With the New Year upon us in just a few short days, and a fresh new start dawning, search for your well done now and begin anew in 2022.
