On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me…. I’m sure if you have even read just the first line you can gauge where my concept of ‘The 12 Days of Inspiration’ has come from, the original classic ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’ was my Inspiration to start my own sharing post of ‘The 12 Days of Inspiration’. Although the same concept is the same, it is also has its differences. You too can start your own 12 days concept and it isn’t hard at all.

THE 12 DAYS CONCEPT HAS BEEN PROVEN TO BE SUCESSFUL & YOU COULD CREATE THE VERY NEXT SUCCESSFUL 12 DAY CONCEPT.
IT’S EASY

The very original and classic 12 day concept ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’ has been very successful. The song or better known now as a carol relates to the twelve days between the birth of Christ (Dec 25) and the epiphany (Jan 5) it is believed the song holds religious symbolism for each day in the song, the original origin was not English but French. The song originally printed on a little book intended for children in 1780 is now the most well known Christmas carol.

 Another successful example is the Ellen DeGeneres ‘12 Days of Giveaways’ this was a promotion started by Ellen in the lead up to Christmas, ensure other move into Christmas feeling and looking radiant and full of joy. This promotion segment is one of the biggest events on her calendar, giving away her biggest and best prizes over those 12 days. With over 15 million Facebook Likes/Followers you can only imagine how many people would apply to win tickets to this segment. Although it is not about Ellen making herself successful but bring joy to anyone who attends.

 These two examples of successful 12 day concepts were started not to bring success to themselves but bringing joy to others. Naturally helping or bringing joy to others will deliver an instant positive improvement to your feelings.

HOW TO USE THE 12 DAYS CONCEPT AND MAKE IT SUCESSFUL

The 12 Days concept follows four simple steps and has been broken down to a one word to help you memorize the process. Following these four steps when enable you to adjust and differ you own ’12 Day concept apart from any other and make it your own. The four steps lies in the word IDEA, the word is an acronym for the process of a 12 days concept.

I – Interest

D – Delivery

    E – Execution

    A – Audience

 When looking at starting a 12 Days concept the first thing to make it your own, for you to want to pursue with making it something special and set it apart from the rest is making it relevant to yourself. Pick something you take great INTEREST in, if you do not have interest in your 12 Day concept it can not be a success.

Step 2 is DELIVERY, how do you want to deliver your concept? Via facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, email, face-to-face, posting, etc. picking the style in which you want to deliver, like step one a method that you are more familiar to yourself is going to keep you motivated and dedicated, making it more engaging for the audience.

After working out your delivery method it is time to plan the EXECUTION of 12 Days concept. When we planning your execution you need to think about the starting date. If your delivery is through social media/public this will enable you to let your audience know that something is coming.

 Finally, you will need to pick your AUDIENCE… are to targeting a specific group, team, will you be making your 12 Day concept a more personal experience or will you be sharing with the general public. No matter who your audience, it is about ensure they are whom is benefiting from the experience ‘NOT YOU’. You need to ensure your 12 Day concept is going to let the audience feel the moment and have an emotional connection to it. The audience of your 12 Day concept can also be yourself, this could be a diet, training regime or no social media, etc.

I started my own 12 Day concept that you can view, ‘The 12 Days of Inspiration’ using the four simple steps I too generated a 12 Day concept that yes did not become a viral concept although like ‘The 12 Days of Christmas’ carol and Ellen DeGeneres ’12 Days of Giveaways’ that is not why I decide to start ‘The 12 Days of Inspiration. I started it as we all know those last couple of weeks can be the toughest for the year, especially in the lead up to Christmas. I too gained success from this.

First I seen people were viewing my post so I was emotional rewarded, as I knew I may be giving someone a little inspiration to get through the day and next couple of weeks. Then people started to like, even if it was only a couple I still knew it was being seen and helping others out. After a few more post, more people started to like, more people were following me and even starting to share my post with others. Towards the end of my ’12 Days of Inspiration’ people had finished working but continued to log onto LinkedIn and have a look at what the Inspirational post was for the day.

Ability has nothing to do with opportunity, but opportunity has everything to do with success. Your 12 Day Concept may not bring success instantly, in a day or even a week but your concept will create opportunities. Opportunities that are limitless for the audience to engage with, it will also bring success to you. Starting with emotional reward and the opportunities of success are limitless for yourself also.
