However, a significant gap emerges between the skills companies seek and those currently utilized by the workforce. While 4 out of 5 global workers claim to incorporate digital skills into their daily tasks, the focus tends to be on collaboration technology, digital administration, and digital project management.
Interestingly, the survey underscores a disparity in the demand for skills, with artificial intelligence (AI) and coding/app development emerging as the fastest growing and most sought-after skills by workers. Surprisingly, these skills rank among the least utilized in workers’ day-to-day roles.
