11:FS Awards - why they won
One of the guiding principles of this year's 11:FS Awards was to have a transparent judging process, where winners were not only told that they won, but given a clear explanation as to why their achievements would earn them an 11:FS award.
Put simply - it's not just about telling people that they're good, it's about telling people why they're good.
With that in mind, we want to share the full list of 11:FS Awards winners and the overarching reason the judging panel thought they were worthy of taking home a trophy. ??

Winner: Up
Up, the judges felt, showed a clear connection between the insights that drive the product and the resulting experience design - it is a banking experience that does what it set out to do and people enjoy using.?
Best experience design: business, powered by Snowdrop Solutions.
Winner: Ramp
For this award, the judges were looking for a standout experience. This means combining customer research, great UX, and service design. With the goal of changing the way businesses access and manage their money.
What really mattered to the judges was a user experience that showed evidence of customer insight being applied to the product. They also looked for innovative UX that was driving clear positive outcomes and inclusively designed.
Best onboarding - powered by 11:FS Pulse
Winner: Anorak
Anorak's onboarding journey feels seamless and safe, and the clarity throughout the whole process, coupled with their design personality put this journey in the five star class on our 11:FS Pulse platform.
Best Technology as a Service, powered by Visa
Winner: Primer
The criteria for choosing this award was tough. Our judges were looking for truly digital technology, delivered as a service, that has:
As well as meeting the criteria, judges felt Primer was super strong on both low code and automation.
Best use of web3
Winner: Credix
Credix provides access to cheaper capital for fintechs in emerging markets, while giving a better return on capital to investors in developed economies.
By removing the complexities of web3 for borrowers and lenders, they showed an increased rate of adoption in the last year, both in users and in volumes.
Open finance excellence
Winner: Belvo
This award champions the best applications and developments in open finance, to effectively solve industry-wide problems.
Belvo is pushing beyond open banking into open finance by adding other categories of data to build better, more efficient and more inclusive financial products across Latin America .

Embedded FS excellence
Winner: Anansi
Launched recently, in the UK and notably with a female leadership team, Anansi impressed the judges with their novel use of data logistics and consignment data helps businesses cut the cost of lost deliveries.
Fintech for good
Winner: Twig
Twig been chosen for connecting consumer goods, waste, and the world of finance. They remove friction and encourage a younger audience to convert unused items into cash, rather than create more waste.
Financial Wellbeing
Winner: GoHenry
GoHenry impressed the judges with their financial education programme focusing on learning through doing rather than through reading. They loved that this isn’t a financial wellbeing product, it’s a mainstream kids banking product with Financial Wellbeing baked in.
Most progressive regulation
Winner: VRPs for Open Banking , OBIE.
The judges called the winner of this award, a fundamental game changer - Using APIs, it lets customers set up recurring payments, of varying amounts, directly from their bank accounts.? The result is similar to a direct debit and card on file, but with greater security and ease of use.
Consumer Game Changer
Winner: Nubank
Nubank are the case study for growing from zero to millions of customers in a market delivering relentlessly for their customers.?
To be able to grow the customer base by 57%, enter new markets, launch new products and cut operating losses by half is an awesome performance.
Business Game Changer
Winner: Stripe
Stripe focuses on expanding the market, and constantly building new things to increase the GDP of the internet.
Fintech Leader of the Year
Winner: Jamie Dimon
In an industry scared of giving an opinion, Jamie Dimon, sets himself apart. He is an opinionated leader leading from the front of the industry putting JPM’s investment where his mouth is, aggressively pursuing change across the board whether cultural, technological or product all while not taking the eye off today's performance in the pursuit of tomorrow's world.?
