Many people have valuable knowledge floating around in their minds. They’ve work in an industry for a lot of years facing challenges, solving problems, and developing creative solutions. They have become so proficient at doing their job that they have honestly forgotten how much they know.?

As a former Television News Reporter, I have had the privilege of interviewing heads of state, business tycoons and telling the stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Through that I had to learn how to ask the right questions in an interview.??

I have adapted some of those probing interview questions to help my personal branding clients to reveal their expertise?

To help you decipher if you have some hidden expertise, Answer these questions for me:?

1. ?Have you ever received a call from anyone asking if they can ‘pick your brain” --- that is a dead give-a-way that you have knowledge to share.?

Or?

1. Do people refer others to you knowing that you have answers to solve their problems???

I know some of you just had an aha moment.?

Now, it is time for you to uncover your genius. Write down these 3 important 2-part questions and take the time to honestly answer them for yourself.?

1. what have you done on a professional personal or voluntary basis for at least two years and what are seven things that you learned about that subject??
2. ?if all the circumstances were perfect in your life, what would you enjoy doing (or what would you do for free???)? what six things do you know about that subject.?
3. ?what have you overcome? and what are eight steps you use to conquer it.?
