Hi Joe (and fellow Tune-up'ers) Great installment! As always it is relevant and actionable. Info I can put to work right away and see the difference in my results. This is a core shift that really makes a difference in how I approach situations in general. I assess the situation by understanding the needs and mortifications of the people involved. This opens me up to all sorts of ways to move forward that I do not consider when I am focused on "showing" others why they should do what I think they should. Powerful! You bring to mind one of my favorite mathematicians, Blaise Pascal. He said "People are generally better persuaded by the reasons which they have themselves discovered than by those which have come into the mind of others.” & “If you want to persuade, appeal to interest not to reason.”? Further proof that great minds think alike! Thanks, Joe! I look forward to each week's visit from you!
