11 quarters in a row above budget and there is no end in sight – part 2

More than 20 years ago, as a student in Bamberg, I was looking for a part-time job to earn my living, especially to finance the bar visits.

Coincidentally my brother and his best friend just started their own company. At this stage I didn′t have a clue about computers, software, programming or sales, but I was offered a job and I instantly grabbed it. 

Without knowing what I was getting myself into, I dared the jump into the "cold water" and learned how to swim. What inspired me from the very beginning was the entrepreneurial spirit of the two founders.

After working in several departments, (I won't forget to mention the amusement of the developers here), I soon ended up in sales.

Despite all these memories happened a long time ago, I remember exactly the comments from fellow students and their girlfriends who mocked us when we spent night after night in the dorm room to realize our dream. Thank you for that extra-kick of motivation! :-) 

And now - 20 years later - our company has grown from 3 up to 160 employees, more than 4.500 customers from all over the world are using our software and we belong to the fastest growing BI/CPM companies worldwide.

It is a pleasure for me to be part of this extraordinary team, which constantly develops high-end products.

The path wasn't always easy and I think that will never change.

Maybe the key factor of our success is that we don’t take it for granted. Each of us works hard and concentrated day by day, no matter how successful yesterday was.

I am very curious about what part 3 of that story will be, but I know one thing for sure: I will be part of it :-)
