Reason #1: Lack of Knowledge

If you don’t know what you’re doing, you’re not going to like to keep doing it. If you don’t know how to get the right result from your effort, you’re not going to stay committed to it for very long. The first thing to do is to get the right knowledge.??

Reason #2: Lack of Practice/Experience

Once you have the right knowledge, you need to apply it. At first, you can apply the knowledge in a practice setting. Practice your new knowledge and skills before implementing them in the real world. You won’t find one football team that puts a play in the game without practicing it first. You can do the same with any skill and practice every morning.?

?9 Morning Rituals For Success?

Once you’ve committed to creating success in your life, you want to schedule time for it.?

You can go beyond time management and maximize every minute of your day.?

When I got serious about success, I created a success schedule. Each morning I complete 9 “Rituals” that help me dominate my morning.?

Here’s an example of the 9 Rituals For Success I practice every morning.?

1. Wake up early: ?Start your day doing something you don’t want to do. This helps you build character and discipline. (30 minutes)
2. Write down your 10X goals. (5 minutes)
3. Read a book: Highlight and take notes on things you can apply. (20 minutes)
4. Study and train: Complete 6 training segments in Cardone University every morning. (20 minutes)
5. Exercise: Move your body. (20-30 minutes)
6. Listen to personal development programs: You can listen to sales programs on the way to work. Cardone University is a great resource for personal development material.?
7. Post on social media: You see me posting everywhere on social media. You can do the same.
8. Sales meeting: Lead or participate in a sales meeting with your team. Celebrate your wins. (15-20 minutes)
9. Role-Play: Practice selling and closing with your team. (15-20 minutes)

Now that you’ve dominated your morning, it’s time to dominate every important area of your life.?

Dominate Every Sector Of Your Life

Stay focused on what allows you and your business to grow. Invest no time, energy, or resources into those things and people that don’t.

1. Dominate Yourself.?

Dominating yourself means taking control of your attitude, your energy, and your confidence and making it all work for you.

It means not letting your problems and fears drive you. Instead, let your 10X goals drive you. Eliminate behaviors that hurt your performance. Weed out the behaviors that harm you or set you back.?

2. Dominate Your Time.?

Your time is precious. You need to plot out your life to capitalize on the time you have. Blank space on your calendar is destructive and useless.

I don’t manage time, I create it. I make time work for me. I find ways to make more of it. I make every moment do double duty for me. For example, I combine date nights with business meetings with Elena.?Elena and I share the platform at 10X Growth Conference on Valentine’s Day. I take my two beautiful children with me to my speaking events.?

3. Dominate Your Finances.?

To dominate your finances, you have to set yourself up with a system of principles and procedures. Allow yourself to discuss money with others. Don’t be shy about your desire to make more money. Making more will help you get yourself closer to your goals.

4. Dominate Your Area of Expertise.?

Become a master in your area of expertise. This feeds your obsessions and purpose. Tell yourself that you are the best, even if you are not quite there yet. Dominate your industry and your brand and never be ashamed to promote yourself.?

Refuse To Quit

Quitting is a sure way to fail.

The difference between success and failure is never quitting.?

You might not achieve massive success the first time around. Stay in the game when others throw in the towel.

Almost every successful person has stories about the times they thought about quitting. Kevin Hart, Daymond John, and Steve Harvey were rejected and discouraged again and again. But they didn’t quit. If they had, we wouldn’t know their names.?

We don’t know the names of quitters because they fade into obscurity.

I wanted to quit almost every day for two years after starting my business. But I dug in deep. For the first two years, I made less in my business than I did at my previous job. But I kept at it and over time, started to replace disappointments with achievements.

Avoid the “perfectionist trap.” When you become obsessed with making something perfect the first time around, you delay, wait too long, and give up.?

Instead, “get it done, then get it right.” Make the product or write the book first.?And then make updates, edits, and improvements later.?

Persistence leads to success.
