10th August

My father had got into a ???????? with someone in July 2004, and a few guys had hit on his head with an iron rod. He was bleeding, hospitalized, and our financial condition / background was NEVER good. I used to take Home Tuitions during my Engineering Days to gather money that I used to buy my Hero Honda Street ??

Being always excellent in Communication and Sharing, I always shared Job Openings with my Engineering Acquaintances. However, they didn't always do the same (whatever their reasons might have been). In August 2004, they were going for a "Testing" job in a small company (without telling me), and (my mother and) I can never forget one of the guys (Abhishek G.) who was kind enough to let me know about the same - probably by mistake.

We took an Aptitude test, and a 'Testing' test, and I was the only one to get selected amongst us five ??

On the evening of 9th August, 2004, a Monday, I was interviewed at #BindView and the HR told me my five-digit monthly Salary, making me wonder whether I really deserve that much money ?? I'd never seen that much money. She asked, "Can you join tomorrow?" I jumped out of my chair. That was undoubtedly one of the best moments of my life.

I hold no grudge against my College-mates (or anyone). I understand. We all are immature at times. We all carry shortage consciousness at times. We all make mistakes. We all fight over emails. That's the passion that I always had, and will continue to do so - no matter all the rejections that are coming my way today due to the over-saturation in the very same Software Industry I worked for. I know I may be categorized as over-experienced, aged, or anything else, but how much do I upskill myself? And in which direction? I, initially, felt the industry has betrayed me, but no! Everybody wants two kids, and that's one of the root causes of all the basic problems. Nevertheless, I still hope to become part ?? of this one big pile of shit some day again.

Anyway, today, 10th August, is one of the most special dates in my life. That was my first working day, 20 years ago. I am grateful for everything.
