$10K Per Game? - Next Gen Pricing Preview
How would you feel about shelling out $100 to $300 for your average game, and a whopping $10k or more for a AAA title with a projected lifespan of 25-50 years (or lifetimes)? Imagine, game companies teaming up with banking partners, offering finance options on these AAA games. ?? Would that make you more discerning in your purchases?
Imagine this scenario: You drop $200 for the base game of Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA VI), Would you pay for a base game that allows you to explore the game. You get to walk around the game. You can't steal, shoot, rob, or interact more than a citizen passing by. Just a base game. The 'Theft' part of the game, and for that, you're looking at an additional $9800. Want to play online with others? Well, that's another extra cost. Each feature becomes an à la carte option. Believe it or not, this reality is closer than you think. Plans are being drawn, and the timeline is unfolding. Initially, you'll witness the hype around some games, seemingly without a price tag. But as these highly anticipated games approach release, a different pricing model will emerge.
There's even talk about contemplating whether live service resources should be charged on a daily basis or through split plans—some with unlimited time and others with online blackout periods.
Why the sudden shift? The transformation of AI units within major corporations requires a substantial injection of funds. Your money is becoming the driving force behind these changes. They need the money so they are going to promise a new era of gaming experiences. Get ready; the games are about to step up their…..game. ??
This might be coming and why you might actually pay that much is for the type of experience you are going to get.

Start developing tech with this type of thing in mind if you'd like to be ahead of the curve.
Soon, you will be able to have various parts of your home assist you in the immersion of the gaming atmosphere you wish to experience. You'll soon see tables that display top down perspectives of the entire map of the game you are playing. Sound amazing? It is, but just that feature alone will not help this type of technology survive.
With AI, you'll be able to view a live map. AI makes it possible to create living environments far away from the characters field of view.
Besides that, think about MLG gaming.
You could view a top down of the live game by subscribing to the feature. You can track your favorite players, zoom into hot spots where the action is happening, or take part as an on-the-rails npc (if applicable) that puts you right in the hot seat of the action scenes.
TV shows are the same, think about watching an episode of Road & Track or your favorite car tv show (if applicable), and on your table is a 3D model of the car that you can walk around, inspect, open and close moving parts, and the list goes on.
This experience is part of the next level of the type of stimulation we'd like to dive into.

Live streams are about to get a serious upgrade. The unfolding realities will be shaped by your interactions with the AI, making each experience uniquely yours. Real-time world changes are just one piece of the exciting tech advancements that gamers are about to expect as a standard in most large titles.
Coming soon: the ability to customize a s**tload of tech, clothing, and accessories using in-game currency or real money. Your style, your way. ????
What games are worth that price? I'd say none on the market right now.
Do you think this is what Rockstar Games ' Dan Houser meant when he suggested that games should cost the value of its longevity. Are you Ready? Besides car chases, laser guns, helicopters, and jetpacks, imagine what would happen if you start the game on the brink of an AI robot takeover. You and your partner are forced to rob after deciding its time to live a better life, in mid robbery, the world starts to fall apart and the robots take over. Now you have to rob, craft, partner up, defend, and stay alive as the word begins a global change. If there is a side to take, who's side, whose cause would you champion?
And don't forget, Besides Miami, you have the hillbilly bayou that needs to be xplored as well, and there are the hurricane's you'll get to play through and see how the environment reacts before, during, and after an event. :)
