10?fun?things?I?learnt?this?week

1. Grandchildren are the best. They can be great fun or drive you to drink in the space of an hour.
2. Winter is bad for me. I tend to hibernate, and don’t do enough exercise.
3. I don’t like the howling winds and driving rain: it plays havoc with my garden (amongst other things).
4. I love to eat. (See No 2).
5. There is nothing more frustrating than technology that won’t do what you tell it to to. (I won’t even begin to tell you that story!!).
6. You can play scrabble by yourself. (See No 2 – hibernating brings out the weird in me – but all word games focus the mind and let you discover different words).
7. Music and good red wine are good for you. It gets the blood pumping.
8. I like to cook (See No 4).
9. I like going on rallies in DORA (Dear Old Red Austin) – our 1937 Austin Cambridge.
10. Winter is good to me. I write more in the winter (Lots and lots of words this week.)

Bonus track: I have much to be grateful for.
