Our Ancients calculated several 1000’s of years ago what Astrological science proved recently… That is the number 108 is the scientific number for life… The distance between the Sun and our Earth divided by the diameter of the Sun (larger body) = 108; the Earth is therefore correctly placed at a Goldilocks distance from the Sun so as to receive just the perfect amount of heat, light and other Electromagnetic radiation to support life… Similarly the distance between our Earth and the Moon divided by diameter of the Earth (again, the larger body) equals 108… So the moon is correctly placed to control and thus prevent the Earth from wobbling too much around it's axis thereby allowing the oceans to have a distinct boundary with the continents, instead of daily flooding hundreds of miles inland, with just the right amount of tides, to support life — as it evolved in the oceans, then moved as an amphibian into the adequately flooding tidal coast and finally evolving into land as lunged terrestrial animals… Which is why the seers gave most Devas/Gods symbolizing a different facet/aspect of nature, 108 names in accordance with that Deva/Diety's life giving, life preserving divinity…
