I found that not a single individual was born great, gifted, and talented. No such person exists who becomes great overnight, like deciding to start a 50k race 50 meters away from the finish line. Greatness is not the start nor the end; it's what happens in between.

Choices and their positive value open up along the journey, not in the plan or goal, but in the execution during the moment. If this is so, you must be in your best state when fate greets you with opportunity. Prepare and rehearse, calm but killer, calculative and confident.

Be ready; that does not involve obsessively calculating and anticipating the future; it requires you to do something at the present moment, the drills, the sets, the reps; no matter how silly the actions may look, it serves their purpose now and when the moment comes.
