107 wonderful reasons to donate

It's hard to believe our very first Sunflowers Children's Action Group Ball is finally happening, almost two years after it should have done. Our charity, that organises special events and activities for children with life threatening and life limiting conditions, had no sooner become a registered charity (1186308) at the end of 2019 when Covid struck. Those who have followed us know our volunteers worked tirelessly throughout to deliver gifts, online activity sessions, virtual Christmas parties and much more.
The number of children we support locally currently is 107. The more people find out about us, the more requests we receive. We're mindful we're a small voluntary team, doing this in our "spare" time, to try and make a difference to these incredible families in our area. I reckon as a minimum, that's 107 reasons to donate.
Our Charity Ball is coming up on 7th May at Forest Pines, and we are in need of raffle and auction prizes. We are indebted to the commitment of Kate Lister Flower Design (everyone loves her flaars!), a beautiful necklace from Nidds Jewellers, Clark Weightman, Jacqui Jax, the very beautiful Yorebridge House and more. But, to make the money we would like to at our Ball, we are urgently in need of quality auction or raffle prizes. Or donations to sponsor something.
So, what better thing to support, if you are able to, than supporting 107 brave children with wonderful experiences and the opportunity to reduce isolation and increase friendship?
