WEEKLY ROUNDUP OF ETF FILINGS, LAUNCHES & CLOSURES

Goldman Sachs Group launched its own buy-write options ETF last week to tap into surging investor demand demonstrated by the $12.7 billion in inflows that the rival JPMorgan Equity Premium Income ETF (JEPI) options fund has received this year.

The launch came just a week after the debut of Morgan Stanley’s own options-writing income ETF, the Parametric Equity Premium Income ETF (PAPI).

Another industry heavyweight, Fidelity Investments, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to open ETF share classes of its actively managed mutual funds. The SEC has only approved this kind of structure for Vanguard, who held a patent on it until earlier this year.
