100th Anniversary of the Independence the Republic of FINLAND

100th Independence Day of Finland was celebrated at the Gardens by the Bay, Flower Field Hall in a way worthy of the milestone.

Arctic meets Tropic Choir, conducted by Valarie Koh. The Choir is a combination of passionate Singaporean and Finnish choristers that joined together for a weekend workshop in October to practise Finnish songs with a renowned conductor Mari Koistinen. They performed the National Anthems of Finland and Singapore, as well some other Finnish songs in Finnish! Ductor Corporation was the sponsor for this choir and among with the other companies for the Finland 100 event.

A special guest, Santa Claus from Lapland Finland greets the guests.
