100m Organic Views... Khian Teams Up With Airbnb To Go Viral

Now for the main event, this weeks Creator Ad Of The Week....

There was no way we could miss this ad this week as it was "blowing up" on TikTok. It was everywhere!!

This week, Airbnb released their latest "Icons" house: "Edna Mode’s Mansion," where she creates her Supersuits. The estimated $10 million mansion was shared with the world, and everyone loved it... even Edna Mode herself.

Khian KB has been a regular viral creator on multiple platforms for being Edna Mode from Pixar Animation Studios 's "The Incredibles", so it's no surprise why Khian was a great fit for this campaign.

Since exclusively representing Khian, we have seen a variety of brands express interest in partnering with him. What he's known for is extremely niche and one-of-a-kind (yet to see someone else do the Edna walk), while also consistently accumulating significant views and engagement on his content.

What Are The Aribnb Icons?

The global business has been a game changer for the world when it comes to travel and tourism. You can legitimately find an Airbnb anywhere at any price point.

However, the brand wanted to take things a step further with increased features, such as their 'Experiences & Online Experiences' plus their group trips. This new category of Icons is part of that!

On May 1st, Airbnb released their first 11 Icons with new experiences dropping around the world throughout the year. On the launch Brian Chesky, Airbnb co-founder and CEO shared:

“Icons take you inside worlds that only existed in your imagination— until now. As life becomes increasingly digital, we’re focused on bringing more magic into the real world. With Icons, we’ve created the most extraordinary experiences on Earth.”?
The Content Went VIRAL!!!

Working alongside the Get Engaged team (shoutout to Brittany L. , Ana Seidler , Mariah Williams , and the wider team) and Airbnb's Chanta Gordh , we managed to arrange the partnerships involving getting Khian across to the West Coast to ‘bring Edna home.’

Khian went full Edna for the day, leading to a great piece of content that showcased the brand new Icons house. Check it out below:

What was key to the collaboration was the amount of creative freedom allowed for the content. From the get-go, it was clear from both the agency and the brand that Khian could do what he does best and take the lead—something that not every brand partnership is blessed with.

Yes, it was clear that Khian was a natural fit; however, the content does showcase that creators do understand how to incorporate a brand into their content.
