Section A - 'How To Start Your Startup' - Phase II

Congratulations on making it this far guys, you've done in a few days what it probably took me the first year to figure out : P

Now that we have all our basics in place, we can move out of our heads and into the first step of bringing your dream to life - The MVP

So here's what I want you to do. While I know a hundred features and product ideas are probably racing through your mind, I want you to pause and exercise restraint.

We need to break down your product idea to its true core and find the CHEAPEST, QUICKEST way to take it to market to see how people resonate with it. Imagine something as basic as a Fb group, a basic website using shopify, a google form where lead entry is called and served directly by you.

We are doing this for a few reasons:

1. To get very valuable user insight and data
2. To create the starting of your initial community. The people who can tell others a few years from now "I used to use this product when it was just a fb group"
3. To finally test our hypothesis thus far in the real world and tweak it accordingly.

I can't tell you how many entrepreneurs (including me) skip this step. Entrepreneurs who jump headfirst and start spending money building out all kinds of features across a suite a products before ever going through their MVP phase. Don't be this person. You will waste a ton of time, money and will need to backtrack after this realisation which is an extremely painful exercise.

Didn't get to spend too much time here today tbh, had back to back meetings : (

What we did do though is work on further populating our database with other information that will be pertinent to our pro users going forward.

The other thing we did was a little research on the SaaS solution provider we will be using. Have focused in on Paddle and Chargebee. Let me know if you guys have any thoughts.
