Here’s a birds eye view of the $10,000 worth of coaching programs, masterminds, courses, and webinars that I’ve consumed in 2022…

Everything I learned over the year fits under three categories; Action, Mindset, and Skills. Most courses begin with mindset, however I'm sharing action first because I believe that changes in mindset and skillset only happen after action.
- INTENTIONAL AND PERSONAL COLD OUTREACH – I used to think that cold outreach was a scam, but after a year of marinating in my self-made belief, I realized that it's the quickest way to build relationships and earn quality leads. Start today by reaching out to 5 people you know you can help and are willing to invest. Just say hi and that you’d like to connect and talk sometime and explore how we can help each other. Treat them like a real person because they are!
- CONSISTENT FOLLOW-UP – Don't let the fear of rejection stop you; you might not have anything they can benefit from now, but the relationship is still valuable. Maybe they'll need your service in the future or maybe you’ll need theirs; you never know.
- OVER DELIVER – Your goal should be to give your clients the best result possible. Your solution is more valuable than the money you earn from it. Remember, a good investment can only make 10% a year, but a good product or service can make 30% to 80% per year.
- DESTROY ALL LIMITING BELIEFS – A few years ago, I believed that starting a business is risky and that the safest option is a government job. But once I looked into the matter and tried a few things, I realized that the main risk is being judged by others if I fail. But the monetary risk of starting a business nowadays does not need to be significant.
- CREATE A VIVID VISION – Once you're free from limiting beliefs, you can imagine all the possibilities. Your job now is to clarify this vision in detail.
- 10X YOUR VISION – When your vision is clear, times it by 10. The benefit of doing this is expanding your mind to a new way of thinking and making your actual goal look easy. It's like going from -10 F to 20 F; suddenly, 20 F seems warm.
- TAKE IMPERFECT ACTION – This advice is easily worth $5K! Once you begin taking imperfect action, you realize that any level of perfection comes from trial and error. It becomes silly to hold back from doing something when it's not perfected yet. You won't perfect it until you try it.
- FAILURE IS YOUR FRIEND – This combines your ability to learn from failure and your determination. Failure is terrible if you can only learn from failure but have no determination. If you only have the determination and no desire to learn from failure, then you're a failure, and everything you do will fail (sorry to be blunt). The combination of learning from failure and determination transforms failure from a foe to a friend.
- SUCCESS LOVES SPEED – Again, if you desire to learn from mistakes and remain determined to succeed, why not go fast. Slowing down adds room for doubt, hesitation, and confusion.
- COPYWRITING – Hands down, the most valuable skill in the digital age! Learn it and practice it every day! PERIOD!
- STORYTELLING – Stories stick in people's minds and are an effective way of highlighting a particular message you'd like to communicate to your audience. Plain words and sentences can have multiple meanings and affect people differently. But with stories, you can capture a message that isn't limited to words and sentences; to the contrary the words and sentences come together and create one strong message that translates directly to the listener's feelings. In general, it's essential to realize that stories in the form of songs, poems, movies, and books are the most accurate way of communicating with other people.
- VIDEO PRESENCE – Video is essential because it creates rapport with your audience and are, therefore, more likely to trust you before even getting on a call.
- RELATIONSHIP BUILDING – As much as people say social media is superficial, I'm here to tell you it's not. With the right skills and intentions, you can build incredible win-win relationships that are just as real, if not more so, than random in-person encounters flurried with formalities and sometimes excessive social expectations.
- ALIGNED SALES – Last but not least, everything you just read is pointless if you don't want to or feel uncomfortable selling. The core of all business is selling! Humans are meant to learn how to add and offer value to others and ask for value in exchange. I would even take it a step further and say that selling helps you better yourself because it forces you to face your underlying motivations and discover how others value your abilities and, more so, how you value yourself.
