￡10,000 Cash Prize on Offer to Ambitious Start Ups

NBV is offering would-be Entrepreneurs the chance to win a ￡10,000 cash prize to get their venture off the ground. As well as an opportunity to win the ￡10,000 cash prize, all eligible entrants will receive a package of business support worth up to ￡5000 and access to a grant of up to ￡2,500 when they start trading.

The NBV team are searching for ambitious individuals who are starting a new business in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire or Lincolnshire.

In addition to being entered for the cash prize, the lucky finalists will be able to access further business support worth up to ￡1,000 including free company registration, 1 years free virtual tenancy and a half day use of the NBV Media Studio!

Business support will be provided via the Start & Grow programme, a national programme which helps entrepreneurs develop their business idea with one to one advice and coaching from experienced business advisors.

NBV Chief Executive Richard Dearden said: “This award could make a massive difference to a local start-up. We are looking for businesses which meet our growth criteria, so they will need to be investing in their business and be creating jobs at an early stage.”
