We all have process in our lives. At home, at the office, everywhere. How we make dinner. How we prepare a proposal. How we create. Sometimes we choose to follow the process, other times we don’t. But the question is...do you believe in the potential of process?
Sometimes it doesn’t feel right to believe in the process. That might seem an odd way to start a discussion about believing in them, but sometimes it just doesn't work. You put together a failsafe process. You understand the commitment and thoughtfully move through your steps. But then the process fails you. So what are you to do? Who do you reach out to? How do you reassess and build back faith in your process even if it isn't working?
It’s about a mentality, not a win percentage. Just because your success rate isn’t as high as you like, doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from a world of process and systems. Committing to the effort required to build systems and processes allows a release of time and space for creativity and innovation. Use that time to innovate with new ideas and push your organization and mission forward.
