100 ways (or post-its) to be a good girl

Before we start... ??There are only 2 days left to secure your spot on the next?Time to Think Foundation course ?(read until the end to find something for you...) And also only 3 spots left...

When I attended The Time To Think Foundation course the first time, the biggest takeaway for me was the ability to show up with a?caring detachment?whilst working with a team.

Caring Detachment?

Like many of you in my network, I am a connector, and I always want the team to do well.

But in the past, I could easily be sucked into conflict or find refuge in tons of post-its and colour pens.

Be a "good girl / a rule-abiding facilitator"...

However, I have found that there is no substitute for generative attention...

Disconnected, long meetings never solve conflict.

Some spend 5 hours in a room, and participants still have no clue what people think, they can't stop tunnel vision or herding movement. People feel oppressed, judged, little. Very little.

And post-its keep falling.

Bad meetings and poor attention create and worsen conflicts.

They waste time.

Participants not only resent each other but some will start to feel grief against you too (as a chair, facilitator, or whatever your convening role is...).

By contrast, the Time to Think Foundation helped me develop an encouraging seamless process, and wrap up the team with a level of attention they've never felt before.

This made them think on another level.

I noticed how Time to Think applications helped teams diffuse conflict and boost their collective wisdom in less time than usual.

GAIN TIME?

If chairing, facilitating or leading a team is important to you, there is a way you can transform a group’s interactions to foster collaboration, deeper listening, and better decision-making, in less time than usual.

And feel at ease with your process.

For this experiment, you can come only to the meeting with your breezy self, not a toolkit of 100 post-its and 100 colour pens.

So, if this speaks to you, join me on the next Time To Think Foundation course on May 21st?& 22nd?2024 to explore how to help your team gain time, and reduce conflict & misunderstanding. You'll take them on a path of clarity, bond and innovation.

What we will do

Over two days, we will navigate the?ten components?that turn a team into a Thinking Environment, alongside?8 applications?you can use at work AND in life situations, as soon as you have 2 people or more in a room.

You will also get a 1-2-1 Personal?Thinking Partnership?session on the topic of your choice. This will help you explore how leaders can become a Thinking Environment for others.

Book your spot by May 5th!? That's... SUNDAY! And there are only 3 spots left.

I like your thinking Servane Mouazan ICF PCC For me, I dropped my 'keep things cool' facilitator persona and started revving people - sparking an interest and making sure it took flight, allowing people's motivation to rise and catch interest. Even naysayers get excited when the group energy is up - and the thinking! And, they stop annoying one another plus gain insights and appreciation about team members who usually don't (can't) contribute. You have to 'manage' this process but thinking, collaborating teams make my day now. No more exhaustion, wrangling for position, or leader takes all. And the laughter! LOVE this in group work now.
