100% tested products: our commitment to quality

To ensure the highest level of quality and reliability, all Vivoil hydraulic components undergo meticulous individual manual testing, conducted within our facility in Italy.

What does the testing of pumps and motors involve?

Testing is the process of putting a component into operation. This phase serves two purposes: to verify its efficiency and subject it to initial running-in.

Due to the oil pressure, the gears undergo a certain amount of flexion. When the components are new, this deformation causes them to touch the body in which they are housed. During testing, the gears scrape the surface of their housing, removing the material that causes interference and thus achieving the optimal gear/body coupling.

This operation, known as scraping, is essential to ensure the maximum efficiency of the components, which are delivered to Customers ready for use.

And what about the testing of flow dividers?

The scraping process is crucial for a flow divider as well, and each of its elements undergoes separate testing.

Moreover, once the dividers are assembled, they undergo a test to ensure smooth starting, with adjustments made to optimize the tightening torques.

Full traceability

It is important to note that every testing process is fully traceable.

Our new labeling system contains all the relevant information about the production path of Vivoil components, indicating:

  • When they were assembled.
  • When they were tested.
  • The personnel who performed each operation.

All these data are linked to the serial number attached to the barcode in the label.

If you would like more information about our components, including details about our production and testing processes, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are available to answer any questions you may have.
