100 Subscribers, A Book, and What Comes Next

Celebrating 100 Subscribers

This week, I’m celebrating a milestone that feels incredibly meaningful: The Bounce has reached 100 subscribers! When I started this newsletter, my goal was to share what I was learning about artificial intelligence, technology, and the future of work in a way that was approachable, actionable, and inspiring. Reaching this milestone tells me that these ideas are resonating with you, and for that, I am deeply grateful.

Whether you’re here for the Lo-Fi AI series, the TicTec guides, or just to explore what it means to navigate the rapidly evolving job market, your support makes it all worthwhile. Each like, share, and comment helps turn these ideas into a conversation—and that’s where the real magic happens.

A New Chapter: Publishing My First Book

Another exciting moment this week: I officially became a published author! My new book, The Infinite Mixtape: Embracing Chaos in the Age of AI, is (update: briefly was) the number one new release in Computer Literacy on Amazon. Writing this book was a journey in itself, one that allowed me to bring together ideas from Lo-Fi AI and TicTec into a narrative exploring how recently laid-off professionals can teach themselves AI skills and adapt to the challenges of an uncertain job market.

The book blends practical insights with storytelling to show that AI isn’t just for tech experts—it’s a tool anyone can use to amplify their abilities and open new doors. If you’ve enjoyed the content here, I think you’ll find the book offers a deeper dive into these themes.

What’s Next?

As I reflect on these milestones, I’m also thinking about what comes next for The Bounce. Here’s what you can expect in the weeks ahead:

  1. The Future of Lo-Fi AI: We’ve just wrapped up Volume 4, covering the era of CDs. Next, we’ll tackle MP3s and digital transformation, exploring how the shift to substrate-independent formats mirrors the journey of learning to work with AI.
  2. Practical Tools for Professionals: In addition to coding-focused content in TicTec, I’ll start highlighting low-code and no-code tools to help readers implement AI solutions right away, even without technical expertise.
  3. Purple Collar Workers and the Future of Work: A recent article from Digital Command introduced the idea of “Purple Collar Workers”—a term that describes professionals who bridge hands-on expertise with digital fluency. It’s an inspiring concept that aligns closely with the themes of this newsletter, and I’ll be exploring how it connects to practical, real-world skills for today’s job market.

Looking Ahead

This newsletter has always been about more than just technology—it’s about people, growth, and finding ways to thrive in a changing world. Whether it’s through AI skills, project management insights, or thought-provoking explorations of the future, I want to help you become adaptable, resilient, and ready for whatever comes next.

So, let me turn it back to you:

  • What topics are you most excited to see in future editions?
  • Are there tools, skills, or stories you’d like me to explore?

Finally, thank you for being part of this journey. If you’re new here, welcome! And if you’ve been with me from the beginning, I appreciate your continued support more than I can say.

Here’s to the next 100 subscribers—and to all of us finding new ways to grow, together.

See you next week, and don’t forget to check out the book!
