Keeping an eye on the SEO writing niche, I've noticed that while a lot of advice gets written for all levels of involvement, very little of it is actually useful to beginners. The advice is either too advanced, or too vague, or simply stops at 5 or 10 tips at most. Obviously, if you really want to start applying good SEO to your blog(s) or website(s), 10 tips can only take you so far (not far at all).
Usually, most advice posts or SEO guides for beginners remain in the area of 'don't post low-quality content' and 'don't spam'. In better cases, they get into very specific details like how to upload an image for accompanying your blog post, and while it's definitely useful for those who are really just beginning to post things online, it's not nearly enough. Learning such basic motions won't turn you into a SEO-acquainted user. Considering that every business needs to exist online, knowing how to make your online presence valid from a SEO point of view is becoming a crucial skill. It's unfortunate, therefore, that there are still plenty of information gaps in this area. There is really a very little chance to become relevant (or stay relevant), business-wise, outside being present in search results.
I decided that a SEO guide needs to be definitely more comprehensive, even if it's targeted for beginners. A list of the most important 100 things to know, SEO-wise, was more appropriate, even if not all of them will be applied from the beginning of the learning journey. I tailored the list from the introductory tips to the more advanced ones. Most importantly, in order to avoid intimidating those without much SEO experience, and to make it easier to digest and understand, I made sure each piece of advice of that 100 tips came in one sentence.
I developed the whole presentation on our company's blog and won't re-post the entire content here in order to avoid spam. But if you're interested in learning more about search engine optimization and don't know where to start, you should definitely head here: https://digitalwebproperties.com/blog/100-seo-tips-beginners-one-sentence/. It's all pretty simple, presented as actionable advice, and even if you're more advanced, you will still find an useful tip or two.
