100 lectures to the same conference

100 lectures to the same conference

This year's Inter/Micro conference in Chicago saw my 100th lecture presented at that conference - the first had been in September 1969 when the meeting was in Imperial College, London. Since 1988, each Monday night's lecture has been called by the conference organizers (somewhat embarrassingly) 'An Evening with Brian'. Many of those talks gave rise to published research papers, and some to books. The story of them all is outlined in this just-published column: https://www.brianjford.com/CF28.pdf
