The 100 Faces behind The Hub

Today, we celebrate a significant milestone — our 100th newsletter.

The Hub Bengaluru has evolved from a page to a community that has become the voice of the Bengaluru youth. And this would not have been possible without the 100 people who have helped execute this vision.

We want to take this moment to honor the 100 incredible people and partners who have supported us on this journey. Your insights, encouragement, and engagement have made all the difference.

1. Azaan Feroz Sait - Our ringleader! Azaan started The Hub 8 years ago in a small humble office, with not much manpower or assets. Now his agency, The Hubverse, has offices in Mumbai and Dubai. He loves being involved in every nitty gritty detail in every department, and is someone we can count on for anything we need. Although extremely shy in the beginning, Azaan has grown to be our rock, standing beside us and helping us grow as people and as a team.
2. Feroz Sait - A father’s trust in his son isn’t easily given, but today, The Hub thrives thanks to that trust. So we want to give a HUGE shoutout to the support system we owe it all to.
3. Masarrat Nadiadwala - Our Chief ‘Mom’ Officer, she is a true force of strength and has made invaluable contributions to Angels Orphanage, embodying the spirit of care and support that truly uplifts everyone around her.
4. Zohra Sait - Like any sister, Zohra has been a constant support to Azaan and has been The Hub’s biggest cheerleader. And today, she leads <Yutori> and is the CMO of Safina Plaza.
5. Zuzu Sait - Our Chief Paw Officer and resident pupper. Zuzu has done for us so much that it can be put in simple words. From being the energetic therapeutic relief to sometimes even reaching out to clients on our behalf. He has probably bought more clients for the company than most of our growth team. Subtle Flex. The rest of the puppers deserve a shout-out to. Our indie goddess Elsa and big goofball Mash.
6. Vikram Nandakumar AKA Vik - AKA Azaan’s work wife, the man who was there through it all. From social media to hospitality, Vik handled everything. He graduated as the CEO (Chief Experience Officer). Vik cannot get enough of Nike, he has approximately every release in every colour. Also a BIG techno enthusiast, our Vik is may not be the youngest in the office but he is the youngest at heart.
7. Aashna Rao - Aashna joined The Hub as a part of the design team, and today is the managing partner and head of branding and design. She’s an animal lover, which is proved by her many many cute pet animals. She has been everyone’s emotional support human, and is her kind, welcoming and warm self everyday. Another fun fact- Azaan and Aashna are childhood friends. Who knew that one day these two kids would manage such a vibrant agency together.
8. Nida H. - A true gem, Nida has fancy taste (a jewel on her tooth) and was the MAIN reason the Mahdi event even happened. She was our head of PR and the sweetest person in the office. Nobody knows The hub better than her, and the copywriters of the hub want to give her a special shoutout for her crazy efforts to grow the page from 0 to 11k subscribers. We don’t know how you did it Nida, but we love you.
9. Mahdi Shafiei and Team Trifid Media - What started off as an e-mail from Nida has now turned into a fruitful bond that is going to be the Hubverse’s HQ. Mahdi gave us a blueprint that he has lived by and we have made it our own. This partnership has been nothing but ups.
10. Prof.Christian Farioli - Prof. Christian is very important to the hub (even emotionally) because he is our client turned partner and mentor. He is THE man behind our expansion to Dubai.
11. Malharika Jain - She started as a project manager, and is now the Head of project management. She’s been at The Hub for two years, having a hand in almost every project we have ever handled. She is currently in Bombay helping us expand our Bombay Hubverse office, as you can see, she is very much in demand. She hits the nail on the head every single time; and also manages to successfully annoy Jonathan like no one else can.
12. Nikhil Sachdev, Ronak Daftary , Pratik Doshi, Jigar?Doshi - The stellar team behind the Padel revolution in India. Without these gentlemen, padel would be nothing in India and the Hubverse Mumbai office would be a pipe dream. A heartfelt thank you to all four of you for believing in the agency’s experience and expertise.
13. Precilla Anju - One of The Hub’s most trustee partners who has had faith in our skill and ability for the longest time. A true shoutout to one of the most important people who has worked with us on many projects and many more to come.
14. Rohit Agarwala - Co-Founder of Barely Opinionated, this is the informative page that everyone has been jumping on for a while. Rohit has been one of Azaan's first collaborators and continues to be the testament to how life can be when you have Azaan and Safina Ventures backing you.
15. Danish Kazi - Danish is the growth marketing & ops manager at the hub, and things would simply not get done without him. His strategic thinking and dedication drives all the projects, and the results are massive. Just like the love for his work, he shares a love for food (don’t we all).
16. Diya Varma - A HUGE shoutout to the ‘Slay’ of the office. Diya was our incredible copywriter and editor, who wrote 94 of the THB newsletters and that takes an immense amount of patience and follow up (trust me I know).
17. Kalyani Datta - A fantastic head of design, she was one of the main players in the creation of Phooling Around. She was known around the office for being very soft spoken but as her fellow colleagues described it- her work was louder than her words. She is currently working with Nikhil Kamath.
18. Niveditha Kuttappa AKA Nivi - The best hugger of the office, Niveditha is one of the co founders of phooling around and an insane artist. She was a huge part of our design team and everyone LOVED her.
19. Sarthak S Shambhatnavar - The man behind the “How to” series and numerous design projects. If you don’t see him in the design studio, he’s probably playing table tennis with…
20. hari haran - The one and only deck God. Known for his calm demeanor and killer aesthetic, Hari is currenrtly working with <Insane Marketers>.
21. Blesson Abraham - Blesson blessed us with his incredible voice and instrumental skills (this man CAN play the guitar.) He was a big part of our design team and we loved his presence at the hub!
22. Anand Menon - He has worked tirelessly day and night to make sure there isn’t a single error in any copy going out (so if there’s an error in this newsletter, he was lying about the day and night thing to earn extra brownie points). EDIT: Special shoutout to Tanya V from the copy team who really helped.
23. Harishankar Sreekumar - For shamelessly doing everything and anything needed for a video, resulting in the most viewed and liked video on THB’s Instagram page; also for getting Rachel hundreds of marriage proposals. 24. Jonathan Walton - For not letting us put his face on the page, but still being behind the most viral and creative ideas The Hub has come up with, and also managing to single handedly distract the entire office with his signature ‘the jon’ dance.
25. Neha Dixit - On the contrary to Jonty, for being the face of our Instagram page and always encouraging everyone to step out of their comfort zones just as she does, and also refusing to share momos with us.
26. Siddarth Kumar - Our beloved head of production, for always delivering with precision even through insane deadlines and last minute shoots, and also for being the only ghaas phoos (vegetarian) eater in the office.
27. Rachel Mammen - She works extremely hard and manages to deliver no matter what, her designs and etiquette inspire us all; and also for the fact that every time she speaks, Hari thinks she belongs in the Bridgeton era.
28. Dakshata Khanna - Her designs never disappoint and neither does her bubbly energy; She can also win a burp contest against literally anyone in the office.
29. Roys Ronaldo - Roys is the one person we can rely on for absolutely anything we need, from setting up sets to acquiring props; He’s also a brilliant football coach/player, THE best TT player in office and goes to lengths for The Hub. (He catches a train to and from work everyday. Like, an actual train.)
30. Kajol Jain - Kajol loves sunflowers, loves Bollywood and is very filmy in herself; she's also the one who started Hum Hai Hub coming up with a lot of our vernacular content. She is currently crushing it at Swish .
31. Ronak K. & Roshan K. - Our resident notion experts, Ronak and Roshan are everyone's go to people when they worked at The Hub. If you got a rupee every time they used “G” in their sentence, you would be a millionaire.
32. Kiran Mayur - Kiran was an intern at the Hub, and filled his role so well that he got s fulltime job in the Founder’s Office. Another impressive fact about him- he is a national level badminton player! (also our resident kannada exert). He is currently exploring his acting side, working with our content creators on instagram reels. Suffice to say, he’s an all-rounder.
33. Shiv Karumbaiah - One of the funniest people who has worked at the hub, making everyday an experience to be around him; He’s also behind multiple popular IP’s that made him extremely valuable to us. Y’all remember Mr. Least?
34. Divya Darshini Vivekananthan - She's a content creator herself, Ms Self Sabotage on instagram, and the most fun employee to work with.
35. Agil Joseph - A very talented videographer and designer he was on of the first content creators on hubverse, one of the oldest Hub Members, he created TeesFPS with Azaan and for some reason and frightened everyone around him.
36. Ocean Saraf - A beautiful person inside and out, Ocean is fun and bubbly. She was a part or Creator Relations, a ‘Social Media Sorcerer’ as the office called her. She loves kids and anything adrenaline inducing, making her an amazing human being to be around.
37. Aditi Agarwal - Aditi ordered coffee from Third Wave, Mavericks, or Blue Tokai every morning, probably being their most loyal customer. So if these coffee brands are looking for someone as an ambassador, we have some ideas. At the Hub, she was head of growth and made the office more lively than ever. Not to mention the business brought in of course.
38. Jerin Sabu - Jerin was our favourite video producer and a super talented editor. He worked on cool projects for all our clients, and just like any startup he was our in house cinematographer. He is currently pursuing cinematography at KR Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science and arts, and we wish him the very best.
39. Dania Firdaus - Dania was our creative technologist. A bubbly content creator who was always the life of the office, she is currently pursuing MSC in cybersecurity and AI at University of Sheffield UK.
40. Sanya Kothari - Sanya was a very important player in our team of Project management. Our favourite local vegetarian propogator, she loved animals ESPECIALLY dogs.
41. Mr. Sam - is the backbone of Safina Banquets . He is a storyteller by heart, and we never want to stop listening to his life stories and advice. Nothing we’ve achieved could’ve been possible without him.
42. UBAID SHARIFF - The main player in hospitality, The Hub’s Co Living Space would fall apart without Ubaid. Huge shoutout to his endless patience and support.
43. Sowmya M - She was our edgy in house creator turned to head of social. Sowmya is many things, a biker, a social media enthusiast and a burst of colour in the office (literally, we would be concerned if she didn’t turn up with a different hair colour every month).
44. Akshay R Gowda?? - Our resident Meme Master, Akshay is our witty growth hacker. No one is as chronically online and meme aware as him. (NO ONE.)
45. Raaziyeh Mirza - If being a Maggi enthusiast were a job, Raaziyeh would undoubtedly be the frontrunner. Apart from maggi, she also dabbled in creative strategy at The Hub.
46. Dhruv Chauhan - If dressing up as wacky as possible was a skill, this right here is the most skilled man on God’s Green Earth. On or off camera, Dhruv was talented either ways.
47. Jishnu S - Our introverted editor, impressively edited over 100 videos in his FIRST month. He is also a talented DJ and makes us question what other talents he has hidden up his sleeve.
48. Sim Pereira - Sim was just an intern, who then grew to be the head of socials at the hub. We hope we did just as much for her, as her adorable smile did for us.
49. Neeraj Khurana - We were all jealous of Neeraj’s curly hair, he was the head of video at the hub and is now KILLING it on socials. He is an insanely talented content creator and we could not be more proud of him.
50. Mr. Abhishek Sharma - Our in house council. He has helped us in ways much beyond our imagination and continues to do so. We owe a big chunk of gratitude to him.
51. Avinash Banjare - An extremely talented video editor, Avinash completed an entire year at the hub before graduating. He was always up to fool around, and will infamously be known as the prankster no.1 in hub history.
52. Essam Razack - Essam is a creative strategist/founders office, and has many other unofficial roles apart from that. A surprisingly good cook, we want to taste more of his culinary creations for as long as we can.
53. Adarsh P.S - His role entails video editing, but he delivers MUCH more. He is unapologetically zesty, and loves annoying people for fun with his sarcasm. We love our resident drama queen.
54. Sharvi Sharma - Sharvi is a content/copy writer, always being called ‘mature for her age’ at 22. She’s a D&B night (Drums and Bass) enthusiast and is OBSESSED with cleaning her house. (Relatable.)
55. Rohtash - BO's work-from-home king, Rohtash has been working at the hub as an Editor, and fights with Essam as a part time job (:
56. Vineesh K K - Our new designer is already becoming the favourite among the office. ALthough quiet, Vineesh is the sweetest and most talented person to work with. He dabbles in photography, creates Ai images and LOVES ambient music. Multitalented much?
57. Jayanth Kashyap - Jayanth may come off as a quiet person, but really, he is such a funny person to be around. He is our in house motion graphics designer and video editor, and he is incredible at it.
58. Kritika Sharma - Kritika, our co-creative lead, is someone who will convince you to have fun even when you’re stressing about deadlines. She is extremely professional when the time comes and so much fun to be around, and man does she love her cold coffee(:
59. Rakshith Manandi - Rakshith is our favourite Bengaluru boy, and also the co-creative lead. He can tell you exactly where to go for the BEST food experience of your life, and in terms of work, he is extremely determined and passionate about the content he creates, some may even call it an art.
60. Adil Ilyas - Adil is one of a kind. A tall guy with a big heart, he cannot resist being the friendliest guy in the room. Even if you go to him for help at the most inconvenient times, he will be there for you, and that’s just who he is. If you need something done, he is your person.
61. Saikat Mukherjee - He is an extremely friendly and talkative person, an a hell of a salesman. Everyone at the co-living space loves him for the stories he tells, he is such a smart person and we know we can count on him for absolutely anything.
62. ABDUL RAFI - Rafi sir is the general manager of operations for Safina Banquets, and every single host LOVES him. He is always smiling, always active and solves countless problems that come up during events. He is the go-to person for everything than anyone needs. We cannot thank him enough for everything he’s done for us.
63. Sadiq thehub - He is a guy with such a big heart. The hospitality team has given him the title of the joker because of how much he makes fun of everybody and keeps people laughing. Apart from handling a lot of the operations work at The Hub, he keeps the place running smoothly by expertly handling the housekeeping team.
64. UBAID SHARIFF - Ubaid sir makes sure the entire properly functions well. If anything needs to fixed or redone, he is our guy. Along with handling a lot of backend work for events, he also loves getting to know everyone in the office, old or new. He makes The Hub a properly functioning and peaceful place to work.
65. Manjula Ma’am & Harshita Ma’am- the finance gods of the hub – are not only masters of their craft but also the epitome of loyalty and dedication. Their commitment and expertise make them the backbone of our financial success.
66. Lakshmi akka- Our late mom of the hub, Lakshmi akka treated us all like we were her own children. She made THE best chai, and there wasn’t a single day that she wouldn’t greet us all with a huge smile and hug. We miss her warmth so much.
