10 Years with Morgan Sindall
Yesterday morning, 21 Jan 2018, marked the day when I reached 10 years with Morgan Sindall. In that time I have had the opportunity to work on some great projects and with some great people. I was chucked in at the deep end back in 2008, starting work on the new Shepherds Bush Station at the same time as the contract was being renegotiated to meet an ambitious accelerated programme. Needless to say we achieved the date. Other projects of note are Stratford Station Messanine Gateline and new Platform 3A, roof replacement and steel refurbishment of Grade II listed Marylebone Station, 4 Cooling the Tube projects for LU, 36 Platform extensions for Network Rail and 3 Crossrail projects including the completed Pudding Mill Lane and my current project, Whitechapel Station.
Over this time I have had 2 children, several enjoyable holidays, renovated the house, replaced my van engine twice and achieved my Quality Professional Chartership.
Each project I have worked on has been a success which is down to the people I have had the pleasure of working with (and some good planning on my part!). The work has often been challenging, deadlines have been stressful and the finish line nowhere in sight but ultimately my work over this time has been enjoyable, rewarding and fulfilling.
Bring on the next 10!
