10 Years of Mimic

April 2018 marked the ten year anniversary of the release of Mimic v3. From that initial release of the software to our v3.7.1 current release today has been an incredible journey. Our development team under the leadership of Nobin William and Dean Cook have exceeded everyone's expectations in building an incredibly powerful and fun-to-use dynamic simulation platform that delivers incredible value to our customer base.

On the day of the first release of Mimic (v3.0.0) we took the first CD and posted it in the Chesterfield office. Ten years later, now as Emerson's Process Simulation Center of Excellence we have no intent of slowing down. We are doubling down on our pace of innovation and are committed to increase the value of the Digital Twin, using Mimic, to our customers while continuing to provide the lowest lifecycle cost in the industry. The Mimic development team of Nobin William, Aleksandr Murayev, Dean Cook, Aaron Johnson, Geoff Nash, Chris Stuart, Eric Childrey, Tom Hildebrand, and Tom Freiberger are shown in the picture at the top of this post. We marked the occasion with celebrations in our Chesterfield, Missouri, USA main office, our branch office in Round Rock, Texas, and our EUR office in Cluj, Romania. Cake was served in all locations, although the cake from the Cluj bakery definitely looked the best. Check out the shaved almonds!
