10 Years

Normally I refrain from posting anything not directly related to business, but many aspects of your personal life reflect in how you work and who you are as a professional.

Today marks my 10-year anniversary since I became a Christian and I am filled with gratitude for everything God has done in my life since then. I truly believe that this decision has shaped me into who I am today and has molded the core values that I strive to work by.

10 Lessons from 10 Years

  • I have learned to be a servant and offer myself to any work that needs to be done.
  • I have learned to have humility and learn from my mistakes.
  • I have learned to put others before myself and be a team player in any initiatives or projects I’m involved in.
  • I have learned to have patience, as the fruit of my labor may not be immediate, but the reap of my harvest WILL come.
  • I have learned to encourage others and uplift them for everything they do well.
  • I have learned to speak the truth in love and that how you say something is just as important as what you are saying.
  • I have learned to respect my leaders even if I may see things in a different way.
  • I have learned to have the heart of a student and to never cap my potential by thinking I know everything.
  • I have learned to not judge others and appreciate the different perspective and experience they can offer.
  • I have learned to persevere and keep pushing no matter how difficult it gets or how much work needs to get done.

Of course, the list can go on, but I am indescribably grateful for these 10 lessons. I understand that these lessons can be learned without being a Christian, but I am grateful that I was able to learn these by being a Christian and pursuing godliness. Whether you are a believer or not, I hope this post can encourage you in any way, whether little or large.

I can’t wait to see what God teaches me in my professional life over the next 10 years and so on.

 All glory to God!

Thanks Enrique! God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. I look forward to working with you!

Congratulations Enrique! It has been a privilage to work with you. You have been an exceptional business partner and the new office is really fortunate. On a personal note, helping me when my mother died last week is something I will never forget. Her faith, like yours, is truly enlightening. Thank you!
