8 Problems New Coaches & Consultants Face Daily

Over the years, I've noted what can stop even the most ambitious coach who has drive and wants this to succeed but for the life of her, she just can't.


She's brought into the hype of at least 2 coaching containers but they did not fulfil her needs. What she didn't realize was that the container wasn't designed to fulfil ALL of her needs and so, she starts the journey of 'coach' hopping. It isn't long before she's buying more and before you know it, her savings have dried up. Her friends and family are urging her to get a job.


She no longer trusts herself and even IF someone comes along that could be the perfect match to finally help her but, she thinks it another container that she won't grow in.


So she becomes the very thing that she hates about this industry: A low intent buyer. Put simply, a prospect that chases 'free stuff' but has no intention of buying.


(If you haven't heard the words, 'low intent' before, your not alone. I recently ran a masterclass in Irresistible Micro-Workshops & Courses and for a lot of the girls, it was a big ah ha to learn WHY their marketing was falling on deaf ears.)


Here's a list of the biggest problems newish coaches face:


  1. Deciding on what Niche to choose or, who what problem she actually solve and who they want to help. Saying "everyone that breathes" is WHY she is not getting the clients she wants so desperately.
  2. Defining WHAT her High Ticket Program is BEFORE she starts to build an audience. If you do NOT know WHO you are speaking to and about WHAT you would like to speak about - you are speaking to no one at all. (Learn more here)
  3. Marketing. Words have POWER. If she's trying to skip learning how to write 'Content that Sells' she's leaving money on the table.
  4. Doing the Work. Yes, she DOES need to work with someone but not anyone will do. Choose this way: Either a person that has done the journey or a person that has results, But do NOT choose them because the have amazing clients with monetary results. That is NOT indictive of your success. Your success depends on YOU.
  5. Business and Marketing. Her 'gift' has nothing to do with creating a business (unless that IS your business). She WILL need training in both mindset and strategy.
  6. She will need systems and strategy. THATS what she's paying for in a business or marketing course. To use someone else's knowledge and expertise until she has enough knowledge to create her own systems.
  7. RISE before you are ready. To do something you've never done, you need to create and sell something you have never sold. Investing in the right masterminds will save her years of financial hardship. Rise and IMPLEMENT.
  8. Join a Leadership Program IF you have never led before or even if you have, join one anyway. This will elevate her confidence quicker than any other program.

There's more. Today though, I wanted to call out the biggest problems I see that both women and men face in this industry because no one's talking about this stuff.

In my experience, its NOT what you know that's stopping you moving forward. Its what you don't know that creates the divide.


And it would be remise of me not to mention there's charlatan's out there that have taken women's money in the guise of teaching 'empowerment, women in leadership and then sell them programs until the poor client is bled dry.


Statistically, coaches don't earn over $40k per year. So how is the billion dollar business a model that's not designed for most to succeed?!
