Acceptance of your weaknesses
By recognizing and taking your weaknesses into account you are able to be properly prepared, make better decisions, deal with the uncomfortable and grow. When creating a successful team, acknowledging individual strengths and weaknesses is paramount to putting together a group who will complement each other well.
Focus on improving your weaknesses
By making a conscious effort to turn your weaknesses into strengths you begin to break through barriers and unlock your full potential.
Laughter
In addition to being a powerful preventative medicine, that can help you mentally, physiologically, and emotionally, laughter is also a great way to communicate and foster camaraderie among your team.
Patience (believe it or not)
Another incredibly important tool for success is patience. Patience helps you to deal with discomfort, increasing your self-control and discipline helping you to reduce stress and remain composed in challenging situations.
Being Kind
Kindness is vital to fostering genuine relationships in your life, whether with clients, colleagues, family or friends. Even a small gesture can have a huge impact, the importance of which should never be underestimated. Spread joy and do good for others.
Holding people accountable when they are not kind
If you witness someone being unkind and do not call them out on it, you are helping to perpetuate bad behavior and rudeness. Call people out. Hold everyone, including yourself, to the highest possible standard of kindness.
Goals
Setting goals provides direction and a roadmap to your success. Defining what you want to achieve in smaller, measurable points helps to make a large-scale goal tangible, increasing your motivation and ability to conquer the world.
Exercise
When you feel good, you perform better. Exercise can be a great way to burn off a stressful day in addition to helping you maintain your physical health. Regular exercise also reinforces discipline, another key element of success.
