10 Ways to CONSISTENTLY Grow Your Business

10 Ways to CONSISTENTLY Grow Your Business

Most personal brands fail at growing their audience, but it's not for the reason you think...

It's not because of:

  • Content skills
  • Social media prowess
  • Intellect

It's because of CONSISTENCY.

I see it all the time, and I’ve done it myself.

One week, you’re bursting with inspiration. You publish killer content; you see some good responses. Then, for whatever reason — a project, a vacation, a day off — you lose the momentum.

And it becomes harder and harder to build back up.

But growing a profitable personal brand business, where ?????? is the face of the business (or the product!)... It only happens by consistently showing up—every single day.

Ask any creator or entrepreneur what the hardest part of their job is, and I guarantee you they’ll say, “The courage to keep going even after a flop or when inspiration doesn't strike."

The solution? Schedule a content creation time block each week.?No matter what, the time gets moved for nothing.

I've seen this work for my clients. I don’t necessarily do this myself (just being honest)?because I can create content in an instant; it’s easy for me. Heck, I come up with ideas in the shower and then dictate them to myself via email when I’m getting ready. But DON’T DO THAT if you need more structure!

If you want more clients and grow your business, you must NURTURE your database CONSISTENTLY!

Why do we want to nurture our databases?

To create a WOW Customer Experience.

Why do we want to create a WOW Customer Experience?

I think that’s obvious, but the more referrals and happy clients you have, the more often they will buy more!

What do you mean by my Database?

Your email list is for starters, but also you want to nurture everyone in your circles: social media followers, referral partners, clients, prospects, and people in organizations that you belong to as well. (You never know who is watching, who will buy, or who will give you a great referral.)

So, what DO YOU DO to nurture them more?

Here are 9 ways on top of the 10th way: consistent content creation and visibility, as mentioned above...

  1. Call people – what a concept! It works... Now, you usually get voicemail these days, so be prepared to leave a detailed voicemail with your name, info, why you’re calling, and perhaps also how they know you in case they forgot. Plus, remember to remind them to check their spam or trash inboxes for your emails (if they are on your list). You can do this one-on-one or send a broadcast voicemail like you might have received from me at some point. When you have a LOT of people in your database, it’s nearly impossible to leave VMS one by one.
  2. Text people?ONLY IF they have agreed to receive texts from you! And don’t assume all phone numbers you have ARE, in fact, cell phone numbers. It’s better if you can create a text-message strategy with opt in and offer that but BE CONSISTENT!
  3. Private Message people on your (or their) preferred social media platform. If you are connected to them, then it’s easy to get their attention. That doesn’t mean they aren’t interested if they don't reply quickly. It could just mean they aren’t on that platform often.
  4. Send them a note or something fun in the mail! Yes, this works, too... and it’s very memorable. Hardly anyone sends fun mail anymore. I like making it “bulky” and something like a small package. This is more like a gift then, and they open these first. I am looking for inexpensive yet fun stuff I can slip in a notecard or a small manilla envelope all year long. It doesn't have to cost a lot, it just needs to be "memorable".
  5. Delegate some 1-4 to a Virtual Assistant if needed, but make it personal.
  6. Send a video?personally to them. You can email it using apps like Bombbomb or upload it to Messenger or your inbox online.
  7. Refer and connect them?to someone they need to know. Introduce the two of them via email, FB, or LI message.
  8. Share their content, articles, or posts on social media.
  9. Offer to host them?on a live broadcast or podcast if you have one or inside your email newsletter or emails.

Are you doing the majority of these consistently now?

Which can you add in right away?

What will you delegate, and do you need referrals for that? Let me know!

Are there any that you aren’t sure HOW to do or how to get going consistently? I can help!
