10 Traits Determining Your Success

#1. Faith

What is it? - It is believing with hopeful expectation and a grateful heart that something has happened before you can actually see it. Faith can be dead or alive. Faith without action is dead. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. It is the substance of things hoped for.

Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him:

Mark 11:24 - Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Notice this is past tense. Believe you received it before you received it.

Matthew 17:20 - And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

#2. Purpose

What is your purpose in life? Do you know? Without knowing, how will you be able to be completely passionate about something? Other people who do know theirs will do far greater things than you because they have in sight what they are going after. If you can't figure out your purpose, you'll be like a chicken with no head running in all directions. I could tell you our main mission statement however if you can't see and understand it then it will mean nothing to you. We are to become love so that wherever we walk people want what we have. How do you become love? In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. So God is his word and he is also love. That means in order to become love you have to have God and the word so much in you it becomes you. That is why we were created. So know your purpose.

#3. Preparation

This is exactly how it sounds be prepared. Preparation tops talent everyday. Train don't try. What do I mean by that? Example: When we try to be like Jesus we fail when we train to be like him in doing so become more like him. What do you want to get good at? Train for it.

#4. Attitude

Your attitude is everything. The joy of the Lord is our strength. Be enthusiastic and passionate because we get to destroy hell for a living. We were made in God's image. He is the king of kings and the Lord of Lord's. Think about that. That means we were created to be kings and Lords. Stop being manipulated by lies and dominated by hell.

#5. Discipline

Be a man of your word and do what you say. Live up to what you say and be a person of integrity. Be courageous, and bold. Be strong in the Lord and the power of his might. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Be diligent and create a reputation for yourself.

#6. Consistency

Jesus is never changing. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow and is the perfect example of how we should be. We need to define what we hate and know is wrong and not do it and define what we love and know is right and do it consistently.

#7. Leadership

There is many books written on leadership. I can lay out what it means to be a true good leader in 1 sentence. To lead by example with a servants heart considering others better than yourself and putting them first in love expecting nothing in return.

#8. Love

How are you going to love if you hate yourself? First of all know this: Jesus loves you and so you should love yourself. If you love yourself you can love others.

#9. Honor

Honor those in authority and celebrate people in your life when they do the right thing. Dishonor is the seed for loss

#10. Gratefulness

Be thankful with a grateful heart and low in spirit. Never be wise in your own heart. Pride comes before a fall and God exalts the humble.
