8 年Diamonds are not as delicate as you suggest here. They are a much better every day, every activity gemstone than any of the others. I have spent plenty of pool time, tennis, household projects...the whole schmoo, while wearing diamonds and they tough it out through everything. It's low carat, cheaper gold alloy that is a problem in the pool and with chemicals. The better you buy the better it wears. Women today don't want jewelry we can't power through our day with. Ehud, I look forward to a revision to this article. It's really difficult to hurt a diamond. Wear them. Admire them as you wear them and know they are hard, hard hard
