10 Tips To Reduce Your Sugar Intake

Sugar can be hard to reduce into your diet and its cravings are really difficult to manage. It affects your body and skin and leads you to many health diseases. Here I am going to share the top 10 tips to reduce sugar without going crazy.

These are the things I have learned from my own experience. These tips to reduce sugar are ways of tackling added sugar, not natural sugar. Sugar in Natural foods like tomatoes, apples, carrots is not a problem because they have fiber, vitamins, and minerals. The problem is added sugar which you are getting from breakfast cereal, candies, aerated drink, processed foods, granola bar.


How much added sugar should you have per day?

American Heart Association (AHA) actually has a limit. Men can consume 150 calories per day from added sugar and for women 100 calories per day. They recommend stay below that.

The WHO recommends 25g per day for health benefits.
