1.?BRANDS TO FOLLOW: Spotify offering family-forming benefits

How cool is this name: family-forming benefits, we love it! Spotify introduced new family-forming benefits, giving every employee globally access to a lifetime allowance to use for IVF, donor services, adoption, fertility preservation or fertility assessments and education. The allowance amounts to several IVF cycles in the relevant country (eg. one cycle in Australia costs $10,000). Cool to see that! Grats to Spotify ????

5. INSIGHTS TO CATCH UP: candidate needs profile has?changed

Not that we are suprised but all the groups has slightly changed their ideal employers profile during 2020/21 with preference to #security and #friendly workplace. Interesting to see how challenging work, innovation, dynamic enviroment dropped down in the needs hierachy. The change we all know but good to have it being proved with big numbers by Universum.

The example of IT candidates cohort (the group that has nothing to worry about due to over 40 milions global IT skills shortage yet has shifted too):

Useful article with 27 metric to use when checking on your brand effectiveness. Well it is not an ocean as Marilia claimed, much more is to be discovered as you go deeper with your activations but for a good start it is perfect enough! Go for it!

The metrics are classified into 3 focus areas:

  • Brand Awareness: to measure initiatives for the entire audience (applicant, candidates, employees, alumni). Fundamental to Talent Acquisition and Employee Retention success.
  • Talent Acquisition: to measure actions related to sourcing and hiring, supporting the company's ability to grow. Fundamental to any business.
  • Engagement: to measure employee engagement and/or retention. And if they decide to leave, to understand their reasons.
