What can be better than getting the job in your desired workplace? However, in the workplace the one you actually desire for? is quite an important question.
In this blog, we shall discuss various important points that we need to check before joining the new workplace.
1. Designation: Always look out for the Profile and Designation you are hired for! Ask your interviewer regarding roles and responsibilities.
2. Salary Details & CTC Distribution: It's important to know your CTC distribution, HRA amount, Base Salary, Medical Deductions, and so on. This will help you understand your inland salary!
3. Leave Policies: Know how many Earned Leaves, Medical Leaves or Casual Leave a company provides yearly! You should also know about leave encashment or carry forward policy. Maternity and paternity leave policy etc.
4. Working Hours & Days: People often miss looking at the fact if the employer is demanding 40 Hours a week or more. Also please check if the offer letter states working days details.

5. Medical Coverage/Insurance: What insurance plans are offered? How much will they cost? Are they providing family coverage or only employee medical coverage?
6. Probation Period: Check if the Probation period is 3 Months or 6 Months, and what are the limitations of Perks or Benefits like Leave Policy during the period.
7. Notice Period: The candidate usually overlooks that if the Notice Period is of 1 Month (30 Days) or 3 Months Notice Period.
8. FNF Policy: Understand in advance if the FNF Policy is for 45 Days or more! Additionally, check about the salary hold process from your Resignation Day.
9. Benefits and Perks: Benefits and perks differ from company to company so, if details of your package aren't included in your offer letter, ask to see a full list of the contract terms. Find out what benefits you'll be eligible for (and when), and assess their value for you.
10. Bonus & Pension: What contributions will the company make during your retirement? When will you be eligible for a bonus and which different types of bonuses does the company offer to their employees? ?
