Everybody knows what it takes to be a leader.
Vision.
Empathy.
Inspiration.
Confidence.
Communication.
Problem-solving.
Decision-making.
Non-stop learning.
But do you know what NOT to do as a leader?
Here is a list of 10 things that you absolutely must not do as a leader:
1. Not Serving People
The task of a leader is not just to lead, but also to serve their team; to not just sit at the top, but to work alongside their team.
2. Bad Attitude
Negativity is contagious. Be the positive force that lifts everyone up, not the one that drags them down.
3. Being Too Busy
If you’re always swamped with work, you can’t lead well. Share the workload so you have time to think clearly and guide your team.

4. Leading With Fear
Leading with fear is harmful to the team's morale and motivation. Lead with love instead. Build trust and inspire your team with a shared vision instead of threats.
5. Relying on Title
People will respect you if you're a true leader. If you’re just a title leader and if you define yourself just by that title, you won’t be able to stand for long.
6. Expecting Results From What You Know
The world is always changing. Be open to new ideas and learning instead of sticking to your old ways always.
7. Not Creating More Leaders
Most leaders want to keep their power to themselves. But a true leader helps their team grow and creates more leaders.
8. Head In The Sand
Ignoring problems won’t make them disappear. Face challenges head-on and find solutions, not excuses.
9. Lacking Enthusiasm
If you’re not passionate about what you’re doing, how can you expect others to be passionate about it? Leaders with enthusiasm inspire their teams more.
10. Delegating Responsibility
Delegate tasks, but don’t abandon your team. Stay involved, offer support, and take ownership of the final results.
If you wish to be a great leader, make sure you avoid these 10 traits at all costs.
And don’t forget to share this with the other leaders in your network who’d find this helpful. ??
