10 test items that are very important for gearbox testing

Gearboxes,gears,shafts,drive axles manufacturing factory.
As you know the gearbox will work with PTO shaft connect with tractor to realize power transmission.
The gearbox quality is important to the tractor rotary cutter use life.
The gearbox had the main machining spare parts include housing, bevel gear,or helical gear, shaft, pinion, bushing, coulping, cover...etc.
And other general spare parts include bearing, oil seal, snap ring, shim, gasket, screws, nuts.
There’re many quality control point during manufacture gearbox.
Below is the most important 9 inspection steps during manufacture in our factory.
1.?Incoming inspection, inspect the gearbox housing, forging gear rough cast in good condition. Make sure they meet technical requirement.
2.?Process inspection under machining, inspect the dimension during machining make sure they meet the tolerance requirement on drawing.
3.?Gear, pinion, gear shaft tooth profile, gear tooth direction inspection. Make sure the profile and direction of gear tooth is meet technical request.
4.Housing/casting CMM inspection. Make sure the position degree, concentricity meet drawing requirement.
5.Gear contact meshing testing. Check the gear pair contact area make sure they’re meet gear process contact percentage requirement.

6.?Heat treatment testing. Include hardness testing, Metallographic analysis，Tensile strength testing…
7.Torque inspection. After gearbox assembled, inspect torque data. Make sure they’re meet drawing requirement N.m.
8.?Noise testing. After gearbox assembled, test running noise. Make sure they’re under request data DB.
9.?Leakage testing. Submerse the gearbox into the inspection pool last for 30 seconds, check if any leakage happens. Without leakage is allowed into next process.
10.Coating adhesion testing. After painting the gearbox, proceed with coating adhesion testing to check if the painting is qualified with technical request.
