During that time, I learned a lot of things about hiring, team management, team culture, building sops, going on regular team calls, etc. so that each team member is motivated to push every single day for our clients


While I am still far from being a good leader, I think leading a team successfully, is one of the fastest way to building skills like communication, sales, leadership, etc. at a 2-3X Speed, especially if you are an entrepreneur

Here are 10 things to enable your remote sales team to help them hit their monthly, quarterly and yearly targets:


  1. Set Clear Goals & Expectations

? Define what success looks like for each team member. Try to understand their financial goals and help them create a plan that can help them hit that

? Helping them set Clear goals and expectations keep the team focused and motivated as they will push to get results for themselves and eventually helping the company too in the long run.


2. Use the Right CRM tools

? Ensure to use a CRM to ensure for all leads that are generated by your team for effective tracking.

? Tools streamline processes and improve efficiency. CRM tools like Close and HighLevel are great solutions that offer great features for most small and medium businesses


3. Conduct Regular Training Sessions

? Keep the team updated with the latest sales techniques, strategies and systems. Yes, as an owner/founder, the only way you can do that is by first investing in it yourself

? Training ensures consistent performance and confidence to deliver results.


4. Foster a Collaborative Culture

? Encourage team collaboration through virtual meetings via Zoom or Slack.

? Collaboration leads to innovative solutions, ideas and team bonding so that they can feel the freedom to rely on their team members when stuck or feeling low

? Track key performance indicators regularly against the time they spent on each activity. Tools like ClickUp can help with tracking their time against each task.

? Give constructive feedback to help team members grow. Go on regular calls with them and try and understand their struggles and challenges.

? Promote regular breaks and time off. If you are working for 6 days, then try and give them a half day on either Saturday or any other day as per your requirements.

? Maintain regular check-ins and updates. Ensure there is a common communication channel like Slack or Discord where the team regularly is updating there whereabouts.

? Celebrate milestones and successes. Create separate channels on Slack to celebrate daily and weekly wins by posting regular updates.
