10 Steps To A Better Financial Position
Step 6 of 10: Tidy Up Your Financial Paperwork
Have you a file, cardboard box or tea-chest full of financial documents? policy documents, statements, annual benefit reviews, quotes, old bank books, etc. If you get hit by the bus tomorrow, you could leave a huge amount of confusion after you when your family or executors are sorting out your estate.
Why don't you shred any obsolete paperwork or files that are no longer live or current. You should then produce an up to date summary of policies, pensions, investments, bank accounts, passwords, logins, etc and put this someplace secure.
Make sure you tell your executors or solicitors where you have put them!!!
