10 signs that you may have Analysis Paralysis
The latest instalment of my series on 'How to Ruin Your Business', written with Nasser of Business Pulse, is a dive into the world of analysis - though hopefully not too deep. Here are ten indicators that you have Analysis Paralysis. Recognise any?
You can also catch up with the previous instalments in the links below the list.
- I’m too curious and always want to know more.
- I don’t know when to stop digging.
- I don’t like change, so always good to gather some more data instead.
- I’m told I love to procrastinate.
- I have 100 KPI’s. Not sure which are the important ones. Having updated them I save the file then go and do something more interesting.
- Forget “I’ve got an app for that”; I’ve got a spreadsheet for that!
- Some things are urgent, whilst others are important. I’m not sure I can tell the difference.
- I’ve gathered so much management information I don’t know whether it’s timely any more….
- ….or meaningful…..
- ……..or relevant, so I don’t tend to use it.
