10 SEO Questions to Make Your Content More Findable
Nightmare fuel: Seeing that your content has gotten minimal views within the last year … or ever.
Content can crash and burn quickly. Or fail to take off in the first place.
But what died doesn’t need to stay dead. Here’s how to bring your content back to life and get it read again (or for the first time).
Page-Level SEO Questions
SEO can feel like a game, but it’s a game worth playing.
Pages that rank in the top results get seen and clicked more than those that don’t. Ranking pages get read.
If your content in question isn’t ranking at the top of the SERP, ask yourself:
1.??? Does the page target the right keyword? Is the target keyword within your domain’s reach (i.e., it’s not too competitive)? And does it get regular monthly traffic?
2.??? Does it use keywords correctly? Are you using the primary and related keywords in meta tags, headings and throughout the content —?but not too much?
3.??? Is the page up to date? Do you need to update the information or imagery for the current year and state of healthcare? (Reread that old COVID-19 content!)
4.??? Does it link to helpful resources? Does the piece point users to trustworthy external and internal sources for more information —?without sending traffic to your closest competitors?

5.??? Does it load quickly? Check your page load time and score on PageSpeed Insights.
6.??? Does it demonstrate E-E-A-T? Can you point to where your blog or webpage shows Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness?
7.??? Do the images add value? Does the page use stock imagery to break up text —?or does it use rich examples, infographics and videos that add real value? Focus on the kind of imagery that would rank and appear in SGE results. ?
8.??? Is the URL helping or hurting the content? Would your URL structure make sense to both search engines and the human eye? Is it short and sweet?
9.??? Does the content add something to the conversation? Does it include unique points of view, expertise or examples that competitor content is missing?
10. Does it serve your audience? Does the content speak to 1 customer persona about 1 specific pain point or goal?
