10 segments which are working with tracking and telemetry technology market

Today, the technology market is connect with every business in the world. For whatever area you look, you can see it.

But have you ever thought about the segments that use tracking and telemetry technology to grow in the market and offer their customers a new service? This is what I would like to share with you in this article.

Think about the segments you think invest in tracking and telemetry technology. Now consider whether in addition to making use of it internally, can they also add it to their services and offer it to their customers?

Companies and industries that do this end up having much more opportunities to boost their business in the marketplace as they make use of tracking and telemetry technology as a White Label product or OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). This means that they buy the product from the manufacturer, customize it with their brand (in some cases) and resell it as if it were produced by themselves.

The consumer has no idea who is the real manufacturer. And that's fine, do you know why? Because when a company sells its technology in a white label model, it gives the right to use to those who buy.

This model is great for companies and segments that want to offer tracking and telemetry technology to their customers but don't have the budget, staff or intent to create their own.

Some segments have already invested in tracking and telemetry technology in this way. I will name a few of them here.

1- Telecommunications

Telecommunications are responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance and control of communications systems networks.

It is a segment that works with a lot of complexity and needs the technology market to work. As this use improves their internal operations and generates customer satisfaction, many of the companies have already offered the technology to their customers so that they can also enjoy the benefits of telemetry.

2- Tires

The tracking and telemetry technology market is an excellent ally in controlling tire loads. They facilitate the localization of products and allow greater control of deliveries to customers.

Because of this, tire companies are now offering their products with built-in tracking and telemetry technology so that customers can also have this high control.

3- Fuel Card

The Fuel Card, as the name implies, is a card used for fuel payment and vehicle maintenance payments. The card is mainly used by companies with fleets, which now have control over payments.

If these companies offer a product that allows managers to control fuel payments, why not offer customers tracking and telemetry technology to take control of vehicles and drivers?

This is what many companies in this segment are already doing. They now offer customers an extra form of control that will benefit from the fuel card.

4- Car Rental

The technology has helped car rental companies provide more control in and out of operations. Through it, companies ensure customers better organization and accuracy of data regarding leased vehicles, how and where the vehicle was driven.

This way, car rental companies offer them a service that has advanced technology with which they can control their vehicles themselves in real time.

5- Insurers

Through telemetry in vehicles, insurers are able to understand the driving profile of people that want to take out insurance. Thus, they can price plans according to the way the driver drives, also reselling technology with insurance.

6- Assemblers

Along with the product, automakers offer tracking and telemetry technology. Providing to their customers a product with high quality materials, functionality and technology.

7- Generators

One of the main contributions of telemetry is the power it gives to generator control.

As a result, generator companies are reselling technology in their products so that their customers can have greater control over the data they emit. This way they can analyze their efficiency and productivity.

8- Machinery Industries

Not only with generators, but the vast majority of machinery can have their efficiency and productivity analyzed. This enables adjustments to be made when necessary and in a timely manner to avoid financial and operational damage and loss.

For this reason, machinery industries and their respective companies have already sold their products using tracking and telemetry technology.

9- Field Service

All companies offering services outside their headquarters need tracking and telemetry technology. They cannot be with their employees at all times.

With the help of technology, it is simple to have control of the comings and goings of employees and the efficiency of the service provided. Companies in the segment can sell tracking and telemetry along with their service so that the customer can properly control and collect vehicle mileage, for example.

10- Oil / Lubricants

Lastly, companies offering products to be used in automobiles. Tracking and telemetry technology may be another product in the portfolio. Why not offer oils, lubricants as well as tracking and telemetry technology to customers?

All the areas I mentioned resell technology in a white label product, contributing to your resale and expanding your business possibilities.

Did you know how these segments have and can use tracking and telemetry technology? Do you work on any of them? What are you waiting for to invest in this market?
