...10 REASONS WHY I SAID "F-IT, I'M GONNA BE ME AND DO ME..."
No anger, no disgust, no emotion...just facts. You get to a point in your life where putting everyone and everything before you never yields the slightest bit of satisfaction...only drama, dissatisfaction, and people giving proverbial pitches about how there's a greater reward...and have been telling you the same thing for decades.
1. They're going to talk about you anyway...
2. You being you or NOT you is not going to control them letting you down or not...
3. You're the only one who has to pay the tab for being you...
4. Why wait around 'til a stressful situation to see their true colors?
5. The reward for always putting others first is subjective at best...
6. In principle, kindness is virtuous...in practice, it is perceived as weakness...
7. Who the heck else do you need to be?
8. When you expire, it's gonna be the same ol' sayings, proceedings, and afterthoughts by others...
9. The next person cannot and will not look out for you like you're supposed to do for yourself...
10. Because if you've got things to accomplish, you'll be better off doing them as you...
BONUS: If you lose the essence of you, you're technically not living "your" life...
CONCLUSION: Hey, this is not a ploy to influence people to think selfishly. You have to still trust God, have faith, and give if you want to receive. But it is an influential word to encourage you to be you AT ALL TIMES and be careful who you give your energy to. Whether you're proud of you or not, you can still make the VERY BEST out of your situation and become a GREATER YOU in the process...for what it's worth.

5 年And those are words I needed. I'm preparing to step out on faith and move home. Since 2015 I have experienced so much tragedy. And working in the Pacific NW I have experienced so much back door racism. I'm over it and time to just do me.
