10 Reasons for Entrepreneurs to Be Thankful

Helping entrepreneurs double their revenue through mindset, skillset, energy, strategy, leadership, and laser-focused action.
As the year wraps up, it’s time for some gratitude. And no, I’m not talking about being thankful the election-related text messages have finally ended! I'm reflecting on the moments, lessons, and even the occasional curveballs that helped businesses thrive this year. So, without further ado:
10. The IRS didn’t crash while small businesses filed their taxes online.
In a year of economic ups and downs, at least we didn’t have to add "tax site meltdown" to the list of stressors. Progress, right?
9. AI didn’t take over... completely.
Sure, ChatGPT-8 is now running more coffee shops than baristas are, but it turns out humans still have a corner on creativity and heart. Let’s call it a win!
8. The economy may be a roller coaster, but entrepreneurs are thrill-seekers.
Thanks to every fearless small business owner who strapped in, threw their hands up, and turned uncertainty into innovation. You’re an inspiration!
7. Supply chain delays became the best excuse for "thoughtful gifts."
“Your custom gift will arrive… eventually.” Small businesses turned shipping challenges into opportunities to market pre-orders, creating anticipation and delight.
6. Inflation made us all reevaluate what really matters.
Turns out, what’s priceless is a thriving community, meaningful work, and finding creative ways to stretch those hard-earned dollars. (Also: homemade coffee. Starbucks who?)
5. Small businesses are the unsung heroes of the economy.
Even with the noise of political gridlock and global headlines, small businesses quietly kept communities going—and that’s something to celebrate.

4. The power of human connection proved unstoppable.
From networking events (hello, introverts!) to local pop-ups, 2024 reminded us that people still buy from people, not algorithms.
3. Creative problem-solving is back in style.
Whether it was businesses finding new ways to engage customers or rethinking operations, challenges became the birthplace of breakthroughs. (Go ahead and list your breakthrough moments and celebrate properly!)
2. Every small win made a big impact.
Sometimes, it wasn’t about landing a massive client or making millions—it was about the courage to keep going, adapt, and celebrate the little victories along the way.
And the #1 thing I’m grateful for in 2024:
Resilience. From inflation to market shifts to headlines that made us want to hide under the covers, 2024 proved that businesses (and their leaders) are tougher, more creative, and more determined than ever.
This year reminded us that challenges are just opportunities in disguise. Here's to the entrepreneurs, dreamers, and leaders who showed up, took risks, and made 2024 a year worth celebrating.
What are you grateful for this year? Drop your highlights in the comments—I’d love to hear them!
